ABOUT ME
Thanks for considering me to be your Dietitian. My name is Jenn and I’m an experienced Registered Dietitian and a mom of an energetic 6-year-old boy and a fierce 8-year-old girl.

To me, food is life! It nourishes our bodies, minds, and spirits and connects us to each other and to our heritage.
After graduating from the University of British Columbia, I spent the last 16 years working as a Registered Dietitian (RD) with thousands of people of all ages and backgrounds.
With so much nutrition information on the web, it can be frustrating, confusing and overwhelming. I became an RD because I am passionate about helping people and truly enjoy learning about your life, work, families, and diets.
My personal investment and connection to each of my clients enables me to and help identify your goals and suggest customized solutions to help motivate you to succeed.
My flexible and non-judgemental approach is why my clients love me. Ultimately my job is to encourage, educate and support your goals, whether to increase your energy, give you more time OUT of the kitchen, manage/prevent chronic disease or provide additional strategies and inspiration in an already successful plan.
If you are looking to ditch dieting, bring the joy back into eating and feel your best, book some time with me - let’s get to know each other to see if we can work as a team.
MY PHILOSOPHY
Have you ever heard the phrase “you are what you eat”, don’t buy it!

We are so much more than our food choices! Food is also so much more than the nutrition it provides us.
Food helps connect us with family traditions, culture provides us with pleasure and enjoyment and is also a way to fuel our bodies for all the amazing things we do every day.
There are some foods we might choose more often because they provide our bodies with more complete nutrition than other foods. Some have more protein, fiber, vitamins, and minerals. Some connect us to our roots and nourish our soul. And some are ‘fun’ foods we eat in times of celebration. We eat for many reasons, not just health and all of these foods have a place in our life and our diet.
Through my broad experience with thousands of clients, I have come to understand that health means so much more than physical health. It incorporates mental, emotional and spiritual health. Health also doesn’t have one ‘size’ or ‘look’ and it means different things to different people.
I love working with clients to focus on foods that are delicious, feel satisfying to eat, and fuel us to live the most fulfilling life we can. I approach health holistically addressing the many components of wellness using evidence-based science as a backbone for nutrition therapy. My passion is helping women feel good about their bodies and fostering a healthy relationship for kids when eating.
