This tomato sauce is loaded with flavour and texture. Choose cherry tomatoes when they are in season and sweet for the best flavour.
Ingredients:
5 tbsp olive oil
3 garlic cloves sliced
3 small boxes of cherry tomatoes
1 tsp brown sugar
1 dried ancho chilli
1 tsp salt
1 cup torn basil leaves
1 cup water
Instructions:
1. Fry garlic lightly in oil
2. Add all of the ingredients and cook for 1 hour. Stir occasionally
3. Add 1 cup torn basil leaves
