These delicious little bites are perfect for those that want to try something new! Quinoa flakes are high in protein and fibre and are gluten-free! We found these in the cereal section of Strongs Market. Make a batch and throw them in the freezer for a quick snack anytime!
Ingredients:
Makes 24 balls
1.5 cups quinoa flakes
8 dates, pitted
½ cup hot water
¼ cup ground white chia
¼ cup nut butter
1 tbsp cocoa
2 tbsp honey
1 tsp vanilla
½ tsp salt
Instructions:
Add dates and hot water to a high-power blender or bullet and let them soften for a minute before you purée them.
In a large bowl add the puréed dates and all other ingredients. Mix thoroughly (I like to use my hands for this). Shape into small 1 inch balls and place on parchment
